Well, I went and did it… I finally started a BLOG! Such an overwhelming idea that has been tossing and turning in my head for years.

So WELCOME to my first post!

What you can expect from me is authenticity. You can expect a positive message. You can expect information and education. And you can expect to see a lot about my love for homes and passion for home ownership.

Why am I so passionate about homeownership? First of all, we all need a place to live. And no matter whether you are living in your own home, or renting one, it costs money. When you own your home, that money you pay each month is an investment into your future. The average net worth of a homeowner is incredibly higher than the net worth of a renter. If you are stuck in the rental trap, I would love to sit down and devise a game plan tailored to you, to help you become a homeowner. You can contact me here, if you are ready to take this step!

Once you buy your first home, you start climbing the homeownership ladder.

Not many of us can buy our dream home on our first time around. So we make a game plan to get there. We buy a starter home. We live there, invest into it, watch the housing prices as they move, and formulate a plan on when will be ready to move up to that next rung of the ladder.

It may take awhile, there may be some ups and downs along the way, but someday, you will be financially able to purchase your dream home. As you pay your mortgage down, the value of your home increases. You can use the equity (difference between what you owe and the market value of your home) to purchase your next home.It is like a snowball that continues to grow through the years.

Just picture 20 years down the road what following a plan for homeownership will do for you!

Could you imagine getting that home fully paid off and living without a mortgage? Totally possible!! I would love to sit down and see what your dream is, and help you formulate a plan to get there!

Although housing is an amazing investment, it is more than that. Home is where we come to rest, retreat from the noise, be comforted and create some of our best memories. Home is our place in this world.
