2023 Market Predictions
The uncertainty that we have been living in through the past 3 years has led to some craziness in the housing market. From the frenzied buying that started in 2020, to the impressive increase in new construction and homes flying off the shelves in 2021 and ending with the sudden switch halfway through 2022 when massive interest rate hikes slammed the brakes on the housing industry, it has been a whirlwind!!
Now, as we step into this new year, we are starting to see the dust settle. Based on all the research we do and experts we follow and learn from, we are expecting to see the inventory continue to hit the market, both in new construction and in resale. We are expecting current home owners to still have amazing equity in the homes they own. Prices have leveled out and will increase/decrease slightly based on the location and style of the home itself. Life still happens and the world still is spinning. The many reasons that people buy and sell real estate still exist.
